Lloyd Robert Baldwin
1915 - 2004
Director Emeritus, Euless Library
Foundation
Lloyd Robert Baldwin, 88, went to be
with our Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2004.
Mr. Baldwin was born May 4, 1915, in
Princeton, Mo. He worked for A.C. Neilson Marketing Research for 41 years.
He was an emeritus member of the Euless Library Foundation. In 1999, in an
unprecedented honor, the Euless Library Foundation acknowledged his dedicated
service with placement of his statue in front of the library. He was a
proud member of the COP (Citizens on Patrol), for Morrisdale Neighborhood
Association. Lloyd worked as a radio announcer and band vocalist in his
early years. His pure tenor voice sang with the Baron Dakin Band in the
Corpus Christi area. Lloyd loved life and will be remembered for his quick
wit and love for his family and friends.
Here are some photos we thought we'd
share with you of the statue dedicated to the library in 1999, and of Lloyd at
other Euless Library Foundation activities.
