ELF Wants Your Books
Donate items for our next book sale
The Euless Library Foundation (“ELF”) is a volunteer organization. Each year
we process thousands of items that are sold at our semi-annual book sales. Book
sale income helps support Euless Public Library programs and projects, such as
the Summer Reading Club.
When and where can I donate?
Books are accepted at the library whenever the library is open. If you have
several boxes, please call ahead to make sure someone is there to receive your
donations. If you have a large collection and need help, a volunteer may be able
to pick up your donation. Call 817-685-1679 or email
admin@eulesslibraryfoundation.org.
What kinds of items can I donate?
Here are some suggestions. If you are not sure what to donate or have
questions, email admin@eulesslibraryfoundation.org or check out the “Donations”
page on our web site.
1. Books (new or gently used) - all kinds, any subject: fiction and
non-fiction, hard cover and paperback, and especially recent books, teen and
children’s books
2. Music scores, CDs, DVDs, and commercial cassette tapes and videos (Please, no
media that you have recorded yourself)
3. Software - less than three years old
4. Recent encyclopedia
We do not accept magazines, vinyl records, or Readers Digest condensed
books as these do not sell well.
Can I get a donation letter for tax purposes?
Yes. The Euless Public Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. If you
would like a donation receipt, ask the person who accepts your donation. The
Foundation cannot place a value on your donation, but we can indicate that you
donated items to ELF.
